Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer flipped Oregon’s 5th District seat red.

Oregon’s 5th District was represented by Democrat Kurt Schrader for 7 terms until he lost his primary to Democrat Jamie McLeod Skinner.

As of Friday morning Lori Chavez-DeRemer was at 50.9% to her opponent’s 48.8%.

Oregon Live reported:

Republicans have flipped Oregon’s pivotal 5th District seat in Congress, with Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer defeating Democrat Jamie McLeod-Skinner in a race flooded with out-of-state GOP spending.

That means Republicans will at least double their number of Oregon’s seats in the U.S. House, with Chavez-DeRemer, the former mayor of Happy Valley, joining Republican Cliff Bentz, who represents the heavily Republican 2nd District that covers most of eastern Oregon.

Near-final results tallied as of 9:30 a.m. Friday showed Chavez-DeRemer ahead 50.9% to 48.8%. That put her margin of victory at just over 4,000 votes out of nearly 240,000 cast.

Chavez-DeRemer will replace Democratic Rep. Kurt Schrader, a seven-term incumbent ousted by McLeod-Skinner in the May primary. Chavez-DeRemer’s victory is a boon for Oregon Republicans and could boost House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s still-uncertain bid to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Trump-backed Republican Eli Crane won Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District and defeated Democrat incumbent Tom O’Halleran.

Democrat Tom O’Halleran represented Arizona’s 1st Congressional District for 3 terms and lost his seat to a Republican after redistricting (now 2nd district).

Eli Crane is a retired Navy SEAL and small business owner, Fox News reports.

Fox News reported:

The Associated Press named Eli Crane, Trump-backed Republican congressional candidate, as the victor in the race to represent Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District, defeating three-term Democrat representative Tom O’Halleran.

Before entering into the political scene, O’Halleran joined the Chicago Police Department as one of the youngest detectives in the city’s history. O’Halleran initially served as a Republican congressman in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2001 to 2006 and in the Arizona State Senate between 2006 and 2009, before abandoning the party in 2014 and obtaining his current position as a Democrat, a seat he has held since 2016.

The Democrat served three terms representing Arizona’s 1st Congressional District, but after redistricting throughout the state, sought re-election in the newly redrawn and more competitive 2nd Congressional District, against Trump-backed Republican challenger Crane.

Last month, on Meghan Markle’s inane vanity podcast project,  Archetypes, she delivered a snide and condescending diatribe citing recent remarks by best-selling author, psychology professor and culture warrior, Jordan Peterson.

The washed up and permanently triggered actress apparently took issue with audio of Peterson addressing behaviors that have a negative impact on society.

Peterson appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored and shared his reaction to Markle’s characterization of him as a ‘villian’.

Morgan says, “She seems to perennially play the victim..the female victim of all all outrages, and your name got dragged into this. Let’s take a listen to what she said.”

Morgan shared audio of Markle saying, “Raise your hand if you’ve ever been called crazy or hysterical or what about nuts? Insane? Out of your mind, completely irrational, okay? You get the point.”

Markle then played a clip from Peterson saying, “I don’t think that men can deal with crazy women.”

In a weirdly sing-song cadence, Markle goes on, “The use of these labels are drilled into us for movies and TV, from friends and family. And even from random strangers.  And the fact is, no one wants this label.”

Jordan tells Morgan, “The first thing that I make of it is that her voice drips with the same falsehood that the voice of Kamala Harris drips with. It’s this sanctimonious, faux-compassionate talking down to her audience and trying to be sure ‘we’re all really on the same compassionate page here…and we’re all being victimized by terrible forces that are arrayed against us and none of that’s really fair.’  It just grates on me.”

“And I do believe, and you played a bit of a clip of me from when I was talking to Camille Paglia  the literary critic. And I do believe that it is the case that it is difficult to control female anti-social behavior, often of the type being pilloried hysterical and I think there is no shortage of clinical evidence to support precisely that claim.  It’s very difficult for women to control female anti-social behavior…and females who are anti-social that feminine pattern is reputation salvaging under the guise of compassionate care.  And it’s, it’s extraordinarily destructive. And so I stand by my words.”

TGP is suing Maricopa County after they restrained our First Amendment rights and threatening The Gateway Pudnit correspondent Jordan Conradson and Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam with arrests for standing on public property and attempting to peacefully attend an election press conference.

The Gateway Pudnit reported that Jordan Conradson and Ben Bergquam were physically removed from the Maricopa County presser on Thursday afternoon. Drones began tracking and following them after they were escorted off the public land.

In October The Gateway Pundit reported that TGP correspondent Jordan Conradson was blocked from access to Maricopa County’s election-related events in a clear effort to silence this news organization and stop us from reporting on election discrepancies in Maricopa County.

Yesterday morning, Ben Bergquam was deported from the county presser.

Earlier today, Bergquam also received a bs email denying him access to Maricopa County, claiming that he is “not a bona fide correspondent.”

Leaving the presser did not stop Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies from harassing and nearly detaining Bergquam and Conradson in the parking lot located on public property.

The reporters never trespassed from the property, but the Sheriff’s deputies and the Maricopa County PIO (Public Information Officer), Ron Coleman, claimed they were.

Coleman told Jordan and Ben, “You can go to the free speech zone and protest if you want to.”

The Maricopa County officials do not want any trusted journalists in the building. They only want leftist and lapdog media in their pressers as they slow-walk the election process in Maricopa County.

We reported earlier that Maricopa County is expecting to count through the weekend and likely next week.

However, before this altercation, The Gateway Pundit sent a cease and desist letter to Maricopa County yesterday demanding that they allow our correspondent, Jordan Conradson, to attend the presser.

When Conradson tried to present this letter to Ron Coleman, Ron said, “I don’t care. I will not [read it],” and threatened Conradson with a Sheriff’s deputy. When Conradson told the officer that this is a violation of the First Amendment, the officer responded “I’m not going to discuss politics, and I’m not going to discuss the law.”

The Gateway Pundit’s attorney John Burns shot off the following cease and desist letter via email and FedEx to the Maricopa County Elections Department and Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer on Thursday, calling the decision to censor Conradson a “text-book impermissible content-based prior restraint of speech.”

The letter states, “On behalf of my clients, I demand that you immediately cease this outrageous conduct and permit my clients to access the press conferences of the ‘Elections Command Center.’ If you do not do so immediately, then we will be filing a civil rights lawsuit pursuant to 42 U.S. § 1983 for injunctive relief and damages under the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution.”

After Maricopa County refused to speak to Conradson and removed him from inside of the building, he made a short appearance with Bergquam on Steve Bannon’s War Room.

Nye County Clerk Mark Kampf

Earlier this year Nye County Nevada announced they would count future elections by hand and not rely entirely on questionable voting machines.

Following this news, the ACLU filed a complaint with the Nevada Supreme Court against Nye County. The Nevada Supreme Court sided with Nye County in the case but told the county not to start counting before election day.

The Gateway Pundit spoke with Nye County Clerk Mark Kampf who told us Nye County is counting the ballots by hand AND they are running comparative analysis with a tabulator count.

This sounds like a truly efficient and trustworthy process.

But two weeks ago the ACLU filed new charges against Nye County demanding the county insisting they are “looking for clarity” about how the process will work.

On Friday Nye County Clerk Mark Kampf told The Gateway Pundit that the ACLU missed their filing deadline and the hand counts in the county will continue.

According to Kampf, the ACLU will not be able to file against the county until Monday. Today is Veterans Day.

Kampf also said the county is proceeding with the hand counts and they are making progress.

Donalds is a popular Republican lawmaker from Florida.

The Republican Conference is a caucus of all Republican members in Congress. The group meets to discuss legislation, policies and positions. The Conference Chair is responsible for these meetings, for day-to-day operations of the conference as well as keeping members on-messaging.

The current Chair, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), replaced bitter Liz Cheney in 2021 after Cheney’s meltdown.

Donalds made the announcement on Twitter saying, ” I think we should have a strong conservative in the leadership room to help guide Republicans in the 118th Congress so we can actually get America back on track.”

Congressman Donalds joined Fox News to discuss his decision saying he wants the House GOP to give more power to its rank-and file members.

“It’s one thing when you’re voting no against Nancy Pelosi … that’s actually pretty simple because those ideas are just insane,” Donalds, R-Fla., said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “But going into a majority where we have a responsibility for governing, it’s important for every member of the … conference … to have their hand in how we run things.”

“Republicans need to be consistently communicating … on the local level, the regional level and the national level,” he said. “It’s not just with the political news media. … It’s on the ‘Today’ show. We see it on ‘The View’ every single day. It’s on Comedy Central, it’s on HBO, it’s on ESPN and on Fox Sports.”

“I’m going to be a lot more outspoken internally about what we should be doing as a conference,” Donalds said about the upcoming Congress. “We’ve all worked hard. Everybody’s campaigned hard. “But also, just making sure that there’s that back and forth, there’s that dialog between members no matter what part of the conference they might be in, and even with the leadership,” he added. “It also builds buy-in. If everybody knows that they have kind of a hand in making the dinner, everybody feels confident.”

Donalds’ ideas mirror some points in a guide the House Freedom Caucus recently sent to all new GOP candidates about what it views as issues in the House. Donalds is a member of the Freedom Caucus.

Donalds has become a powerful voice for conservatives and has shown his willingness to push back against the radical left.

Chris Magnus, the commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection is being pushed out of his job by DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas.

The commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection is being forced out of his job as part of a larger change in top personnel at the Department of Homeland Security, according to a government source.

Chris Magnus is resisting leaving the position, after being told by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas to resign or get fired, according to the source. It comes after a record year of migrants seeking to enter the U-S along the Mexican border.

Magnus has only been on the job for about a year, and sources say he has clashed with Department of Homeland Security officials over border enforcement policy. Some of Magnus’ duties have been taken over by his deputies.

Millions of illegal aliens have poured into the US thanks to Joe Biden’s open borders policies.
