Trump-backed Tim Scott cruised past his Democrat opponent Krystle Mathews in South Carolina’s U.S. Senate race.

Sen. Scott garnered over 61% of the vote compared to Mathews’s 38.9%.

What made the victory even sweeter for Scott was moments after the Associated Press called the race, Krystle Mathews immediately deleted her Twitter in what appears to be a temper tantrum.

In this Maricopa County video, the voter inserts his ballot into the tabulation machine. The poll worker instructs the voter there is a problem with his ballot. She explains one or more races have not been marked properly. The voter admits he made a mistake with the felt pen when marking the ballot. She influences him to accept the ballot in its current condition. He just needs to hit the green “Cast” button and his ballot will be accepted. Because there is a mistake on his ballot, the voter has no idea it will now go to adjudication. This often takes days.

This voter did have the option to complete a new ballot. But this was not explained properly. He needed to hit the red button to “Reject” the ballot. The tabulating machine would then spit out his ballot. The polling place spoils this ballot and issues the voter a new one. Because he was not properly informed, his ballot will go to adjudication. Every vote on his ballot will now be subject to change by a worker in the MCTEC (Maricopa) tabulation center.

The ballot was printed at this polling place using the “Sentio Ballot Printing System” by Runbeck Election Services. This includes software, laptops, and HP printers. The voter is handed the ballot and completes it at one of the many voter pods seen below. When the voter has completed their ballot., they walk it to the tabulation machines. They personally insert the ballot into the machine themselves. If the ballot has no issues, it is accepted and tabulated. The voter is done. No buttons need to be pushed and no conversations with poll workers are needed. They are handed a “I Voted” sticker and they leave.

The latest polling last night showed that the GOP was pulling way ahead in the House with the Senate a tossup. 

The final polls and election maps before today’s election show the GOP doing very well in the US House with the potential to do very, very well.

Real Clear Politics shows the GOP with a huge lead in the US House before the results from multiple swing races are even counted.

In the Senate, Real Clear Politics shows a tight race with the GOP in the better situation going into today’s races.

In the governors’ races, the GOP is predicted to pick up two seats and end the night with a 30-20 advantage in governors around the country.

Cook Political agrees that the GOP will win big in the House and take numerous seats with a wide range of results possible.

Polling locations across Maricopa County are experiencing massive lines and wait times due to the voting machine errors that are happening at 20% of polling locations.

The Gateway Pundit reported this morning that tabulators across Maricopa County are not working, and voters are being told to place their ballots in a separate bin to be counted later on.

Republicans who are experiencing these issues at the polls are being disenfranchised with extremely long lines and wait times.

Gubernatorial candidate for Arizona, Kari Lake, remains optimistic that she will win the election.

“Do you think this is normal, guys? My question is, do you think what’s happening here in Maricopa County is normal?” Kari Lake said during a press conference.

“We have had problems after problems, and there’s a reason we decided to change locations. We were going to go to a pretty Republican area, but I woke up this morning and within minutes of the polls opening up, I started getting people calling voters, and tears calling my personal number, saying, what’s going on? The tabulators aren’t working. They told me to put my ballot into a box, and they would drive it downtown and count it. This is not normal stuff.”

Kari Lake reported no issues with the voting equipment in the liberal county of Phoenix.

“We don’t have to have elections running this way. We switched from a Republican area to vote. We came right down to the heart of liberal Phoenix to vote because we wanted to make sure that we had good machines. And guess what? They’ve had zero problems with their machines today.”

“Not one machine spit out a ballot here today. Not one in a very liberal area. So we were right to come and vote in a liberal area. They got to fix this problem.”

“This is incompetency. I hope it’s not malice, but we’re going to fix it. We’re going to win. And when we win, there’s going to be come to Jesus for elections in Arizona. There’s going to be a come to Jesus,” she added.

The exit polls spell trouble for Democrats on Election Day.

7 in 10 voters are unhappy with the state of the nation and largely negative on Joe Biden, according to CNN exit polls.

The key issues driving voters to the polls: Inflation and crime!

A whopping 75% of voters rated the condition of the nation’s economy “not so good” or “poor” – this means the Democrats are in trouble.

Voters want a change after the Democrats have been in total power for nearly 2 years.

CNN reported:

Voters unhappy with the state of the nation and largely negative on Biden

Voters in this year’s midterm elections are broadly unhappy with the state of the nation and hold largely negative views of President Joe Biden, according to the preliminary national results of the exit poll conducted for CNN and other news networks by Edison Research.

More than 7 in 10 said they were less than satisfied with the way things are going in the country, with about one-third saying they were not just dissatisfied but angry with the state of the nation.

Biden’s approval rating stands at about 45% among voters in this year’s election – nearly identical to then-Donald Trump’s 45% approval rating four years ago among 2018 midterm voters. And voters in this election were more than twice as likely to strongly disapprove of Biden as they were to strongly approve of him.

Just shy of half of voters this year said that Biden’s policies are mostly hurting the country, with about 36% saying his policies are mostly helping, and the rest that they’re making no difference.

Many voters didn’t see their congressional vote as a referendum on the president – close to half said that Biden was not a factor in their vote, while about 18% said their vote was to express support for Biden, and about one-third that it was to express opposition to him.

The CNN panel expressed shock that “democracy” wasn’t a concern for voters in this year’s midterm elections.
