The layoffs could start as soon as Wednesday.

Thousands of employees are on the chopping block.

Meta currently has more than 87,000 employees.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

Inc. META 2.11%increase; green up pointing triangle is planning to begin large-scale layoffs this week, according to people familiar with the matter, in what could be the largest round in a recent spate of tech job cuts after the industry’s rapid growth during the pandemic.

The layoffs are expected to affect many thousands of employees and an announcement is planned to come as soon as Wednesday, according to the people. Meta META 2.11%increase; green up pointing triangle reported more than 87,000 employees at the end of September. Company officials already told employees to cancel nonessential travel beginning this week, the people said.

META-Facebook shares were down more than 24% a couple weeks ago on a weak Q4 forecast and earnings collapse.

Mark Zuckerberg’s fortune took a huge hit.

“Mark Zuckerberg’s fortune plunged by $11 billion after his Meta Platforms Inc. reported a second-straight quarter of disappointing earnings, bringing his total wealth loss to more than $100 billion in just 13 months.” Bloomberg News reported.

Facebook (META) stock is down more than 73% over the year and has lost $800 billion of its market cap, CNBC reported.

Facebook fell from a 52-week high of $353 per share to $92 per share on Wednesday.

Last summer Facebook’s market capital was nearly $1 trillion dollars and now it is closer to $245 billion.

Good riddance!

Kathy Griffin’s Twitter account was suspended on Sunday for impersonating Elon Musk.

It appears Kathy Griffin’s account may be permanently banned.

Elon Musk warned users will be permanently suspended if they engage in impersonation and don’t clearly specify “parody.”

“Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying “parody” will be permanently suspended” Elon Musk said on Sunday.

“Previously, we issued a warning before suspension, but now that we are rolling out widespread verification, there will be no warning.” Musk said.

“This will be clearly identified as a condition for signing up to Twitter Blue.: he added.

Don Junior brought THE FIRE today to Miami!

His speech to the massive Trump crowd was one of his best.

Donald Jr. described the catastrophes in our cities and the Democrat Party’s insane policies to free violent criminals.

Don Jr. then referred to John Fetterman as “brain-dead” something that made headlines on The Daily Mail.

Apparently, you are not supposed to speak the truth anymore in America.

You are not allowed to talk about:

** Joe Biden’s dementia
** Joe Biden groping women, girls and little boys
** Joe and Hunter Biden’s criminal activities fleecing donors for access including the ChiComs.
** And John Fetterman is brain-dead.

None of this is allowed.

Attorney Daniel Hartman and Hon. Timothy M. Kenny

Michigan Judge the Honorable Timothy M. Kenny recently held a hearing on signature validation in overseas ballots.

During the hearing in the 3rd Circuit Court of MI Judge Kenny repeatedly berated Attorney Dan Hartman and allowed the defense lawyer David Fink to go off on political rants about “right-wing fever dreams” and “election deniers.” (around the 3 hour mark)  Attorney Fink accused Hartman of racism despite the fact that the lawsuit was filed by Kristina Karamo who is a black female conservative running for Secretary of State in Michigan.

Outrageous! Michigan NAACP President Pulls “Race Card” on Black GOP SOS Candidate For Suing City of Detroit Clerk Over Drop-Boxes, Signature Verification and MORE!

Detroit Election Consultant Chris Thomas explained during the hearing how mailed absentee ballot signatures are verified. When Hartman asked how Detroit verifies signatures on ballots emailed to military overseas, Judge Kinney blew up at him and suggested he was attempting to disenfranchise the votes of military members, adding that he has a son who served 5 years overseas, which of course, had no relevance to the case.  This was a bogus argument.

An animated Hartman explained the point of questioning how signatures from overseas ballots are verified, “What I’m trying to prevent is the person that is sitting in China—who hasn’t been to the United States or Detroit in 18 years—who may or may not exist—from casting a ballot through this lack of election security!”

“And I’m tired of being called a racist by Mr. Fink,” Hartman added. “I’m tired of Mr. Fink saying I’m trying to disenfranchise the heroes in the military when I’m trying to secure this election!” a frustrated Mr. Hartman said.

Mr. Hartman asked about the process for verifying signatures during the hearing.

When Attorney Daniel Hartman asked Daniel Baxter, the Election Administrator in the Detroit Metropolitan Area, about drop boxes, Baxter responded by saying that Detroit’s 20 ballot drop boxes are all monitored by surveillance video, but he could not confirm if they are under 24-hr camera surveillance.

Detroit Election Administrator Daniel Baxter also said the City of Detroit No Longer uses anything from Konnech

Detroit was neck deep in the Konnech election systems, a company that stored their data on China servers.

He also told Mr. Hartman that the city no longer uses anything from Konnech, an election software company whose CEO was recently arrested for allegedly storing poll worker data in China.

According to WDET– The City of Detroit canceled their contract with Konnech only days after he was arrested in Michigan as part of a Los Angeles Co.-based investigation.

Konnech had a five-year, $2.9 million contract with the county to administer poll worker assignments, communications and payroll. LA County prosecutors found that Konnech was storing information in China in violation of the agreement.

Data breaches are an ongoing threat to our digital way of life,” LA District Attorney George Gascón said in a statement. When we entrust a company to hold our confidential data, they must be willing and able to protect our personal identifying information from theft. Otherwise, we are all victims.”

Detroit had a similar contract with Konnech for the use of its PollChief software, which is said to have the ability to send mass letters, emails and phone calls to polling locations and record responses of election workers. The $320,000 contract, approved last year by Detroit City Council, was set to expire in June 2024. According to city and federal records, Konnech had worked with the city on several specific applications for more than a decade, including ballot fast scanning” software and a mobile app for Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) returned ballots.

Following news of Yus arrest, Detroit terminated its current contract with Konnech. In a statement, City Clerk Janice Winfrey upheld the integrity of Detroits election process and the security of employee information.

Our data, which is now back under our exclusive control, was housed on servers located in Lansing, Michigan. Konnech, per its contract, only provided logistical and call center support,” said Winfrey. Out of an abundance of caution, all proper steps are being taken — including the termination of Konnechs contract. My staff and I are confident that the 2022 election process will run smoothly delivering, after all votes have been counted, an unimpeachable work product.”

But now there are questions about the use of Konech systems in Detroit, Michigan elections.

Detroit City Council meeting that took place before the November 2020 election exposed the Konnech Systems were used for many different election functions

In a Detroit City Council Meeting on October 14, 2020, Timothy Gaffney, the Detroit Manager of Elections said this about the county’s use of the Konnech systems:

So the point of this Konnech contract was for us to actually have the ability to mass scan AV [Absent Voter] Applications. Right now, it’s a manual process where we have to actually enter them in one by one to get them done. So what we had to do was construct a software where we can scan 2,000 applications in a minute and then download a CSV file and upload it to our Qualified Voter File.

Timothy Gaffney, added:

Actually, what we would do is actually pull a file from our qualified voter file. We match the voter information with the voter ID number. So from that process, the way we have it, cause they [Konnech] built it for us. The way it’s actually developed is it matches both names, pulls the signature off the application, it matches, it puts signatures side-by-side from the application and also from our Qualified Voter File. So, a human would still be there saying that this person’s signature is this person’s signature. I [??] that file, and then I upload to our Qualified Voter File. The Qualified Voter File will give us an error report if anything doesn’t match [??].

Director Gaffney explained they did not use the software for the August 2020 primary due to disbursement issues with their grant funding.

Diggersleuth was able to dig up the video from this meeting.  And Diggersleuth also found the exact title of Konnech Contract No. 3045877, approved in October 2020 by the City of Detroit for the amount of $186,624.00.

Grant funding, by the way, was supplied by the Center for Tech and Civic Life, colloquially known as Zuckerbucks and funded by Mark Zuckerberg.

It was unclear in the video of the City Council meeting if the software would be utilized for the November 2020 election. They wanted to make sure the technology was fool-proof. As Director Gaffney stated, “we try not to introduce anything new that would change the process too close to the election” and that “at this time, I would prefer to go with the manual hand process [for November 2020]. I would not like to introduce anything this close to the election.”

Here’s the video of the Detroit City Council meeting where they discuss their contract with Konnech:

Joe Biden on Friday delivered remarks on his CHPIS and Science Act at the Viasat headquarters in Carlsbad, California.

Biden celebrated coal plant workers losing their jobs.

“No one is building new coal plants because they can’t rely on it,” Biden said on Friday in north San Diego county. “Even if they have all the coal guaranteed for the rest of the existence of the plant.”

“So it’s going to become a wind generation,” Biden added. “And all they’re doing is, it’s going to save them a hell of a lot of money and using the same transmission line that they transmitted the coal-fired electric on. We’re going to be shutting these plants down all across America and having wind and solar power.”

The White House scrambled to clean up on aisle Joe Biden after he vowed to shut down coal plants.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre released a statement on Saturday after major backlash.

“The President’s remarks yesterday have been twisted to suggest a meaning that was not intended; he regrets it if anyone hearing these remarks took offense. The President was commenting on a fact of economics and technology: as it has been from its earliest days as an energy superpower, America is once again in the midst of an energy transition,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.

Biden is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for Hidalgo later Sunday.

Hidalgo is on trouble over a corrupt COVID vaccine outreach contract awarded to a political ally that resulted in the indictment of three close staffers last April (Houston Chronicle excerpt via Daily Beast):

Three staffers in a prominent Harris County judge’s inner circle have been handed felony indictments over their alleged involvement in a botched $11 million COVID-19 vaccine outreach contract deal, according to court records. The trio indicted are Judge Lina Hidalgo’s current chief of staff, Alex Triantaphyllis, and policy director, Wallis Nader, as well as former senior adviser Aaron Dunn. All three are charged with misuse of official information and tampering with a government record. Hidalgo, a progressive Democrat, had previously championed the communication deal. Her three aides, part of a selection committee tasked with finding an appropriate vendor for the contract, awarded it to a small political consulting firm called Elevate Strategies. The deal was later hamstrung and finally terminated over the firm’s perceived inexperience with public health outreach and its founder’s reported ties to Democratic campaigns…

A subsequent news report by Fox26 indicate the contract was to be used as a surreptitious Democrat get out the vote effort (excerpt):

While Hidalgo maintains neither she nor her staff did anything wrong, financial documents recently obtained from the Harris County Auditor by FOX 26 contributor Bill King shed new light on the real intent of the “outreach” contract.

Something of particular interest is the invoices from three highly focused software companies.

“All of them were Democratic campaign operations. They were all companies that specialize, that provide data services to Democratic campaigns that obviously has nothing to do with COVID. All of them brag about what a great job they did identifying Democratic voters and getting them to the polls,” said King.

Rice University political analyst and pollster Mark Jones is absolutely convinced Hidalgo’s COVID outreach campaign was camouflage for a largely political operation using public dollars to maximize Democratic turnout.

“They were spending a million dollars buying voter lists and likely voter lists from Democratic consulting firms which you don’t use for COVID outreach, you use for mobilizing get-out-the-vote efforts for campaigns,” said Jones.

The records provided by the auditor indicate Harris County has recovered only $200,000 of the $1.4 million paid out before and after Hidalgo canceled the contract under heavy public pressure.

Mealer was endorsed by the Houston Chronicle last month (excerpt via Fox26):

In fact, it was crime that ultimately led the Houston Chronicle to endorse Mealer over Hidalgo, which the editorial board admitted was not an easy decision. A West Point and Harvard Business as well as Law graduate, Mealer certainly has an impressive resume but still has a few things to learn.

“Subsequent conversations with Mealer leave us confident that, while her understanding of the system may be incomplete and in some cases even flawed, her main goals are ones we share: better funding of pretrial services and interventions, accountability for the accused, protect judicial discretion and rely on individualized risk assessments, which factor in such things as violent criminal history and gang affiliations in determining someone’s likeliness to reoffend while on bail,” the Editorial Board writes. “We don’t like that Mealer’s campaign, like Hidalgo’s, has pandered and stretched the truth in campaign ads. But frankly, we can see Mealer governing more like a technocrat, head down in a spreadsheet planning for impending economic turbulence or stocking flood control with qualified drainage engineers.”

A recent University of Houston Hobby School poll shows Mealer with a two point lead (excerpt):

A poll from the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston, released Monday on the first day of early voting, found 47% of likely Harris County voters say they will support Mealer, a political newcomer running for Harris County judge. Hidalgo drew support from 45%.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke is leading Gov. Greg Abbott by eight points (50% to 42%) among likely Harris County voters, while Republican Jack Cagle, the incumbent Harris County Precinct 4 commissioner, leads Democratic challenger Lesley Briones, 40% to 35%.

“Crime and public safety are the top concerns cited by voters in the county races, and that is more pronounced among voters who support Mealer and Cagle,” said Renée Cross, senior executive director and researcher at the Hobby School. Eight out of 10 likely voters listed crime, public safety and government corruption as very important to their decision about which candidate to support for county judge.

“Hidalgo remains popular with voters concerned about voting rights, abortion rights and racial equity, but overall, her support has softened,” Cross said.

Hidalgo promoted the Biden visit on Friday, saying, “Thrilled to share that @FLOTUS Dr. Biden will be joining me on the campaign trail this Sunday to support our fight for democracy, truth, and decency in Harris County. Election Day is this Tuesday 11/8. Let’s win!!”

Why is Ronna McDaniel still RNC Chair?

Why did she not step down after Democrats and their basement candidate stole a landslide election back in 2020?

Why is she speaking out now after ignoring the brutal Marxists destroying our country for two years?

America has never been weaker since the Civil War.  We need strong leadership to defeat the enemy destroying our country from the inside.

It’s not Ronna.

On Sunday Ronna McDaniel went on CNN’s State of the Union and said Republicans need to work with Joe Biden if they win Congress.

Ronna McDaniel: “If [Republicans] win back the House and the Senate, it’s the American people saying to Joe Biden, we want you to work on behalf of us and we want you to work across the aisle and solve the problems that we are dealing with.”

As of yet, Hoylman has not directed his concern about political violence to those who were actually violent, Democrat supporters of Kathy Hochul.

The New York Post reports:

Footage captured by the independent Viral News NY showed the middle of the altercation, in which a man in shorts and a plaid short-sleeve shirt choked a woman wearing a black sweatshirt.

Councilwoman Crystal Hudson, a Democrat who represents Prospect Heights in Brooklyn, was also seen tussling with the woman, who at one point shoved the lawmaker. Hudson did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment

“I was here holding my sign, and … peaceful protest, against you know, Gov. Hochul, and a woman — a very large heavyset woman, I’m assuming, you know, might have been a man — came and took my sign”

“As I was trying to retrieve my sign, there was another man that came and choked me, and there were two other people that were coming and preventing me from trying to get my sign.

“Never wanted to get physical with anyone, I was just there peacefully just holding my sign, and you know, they didn’t want to hear what I had to say.”

A new NBC poll highlighted by “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd spells trouble for Joe Biden and the Democrats going into the midterm elections.

81% of Americans are “dissatisfied” with the state of the economy according to the new left-leaning NBC poll.

This is the “second-highest number ever recorded,” Chuck Todd said.

Joe Biden’s approval rating with Independents is at an all time low at just 28%

VIDEO:

NBC News reported:

Still, the overall political environment remains grim for Democrats. Only 44% of voters approve of President Biden’s job performance, while 53% disapprove; more than 70% think the country is headed in the wrong direction; and a combined 81% say they are “very” or “somewhat” dissatisfied with the U.S. economy.

What’s more, 47% of all voters say they want a “great deal” of change in direction from the way in which Biden has been leading the country — higher than what the poll showed for the first midterms for Donald Trump (44%), Barack Obama (41%) and Bill Clinton (36%), all of which resulted in midterm election drubbings for those past presidents.
