A new study shows the extent corporate press demonizes Republicans.

Leading up to the midterm elections, mainstream media networks are hammering the GOP with negative coverage of the GOP 87 percent of the time, according to a study conducted by the Media Research Center.

As the networks air a constant stream of negative coverage of Republicans, Democrats received negative press 67 percent of the time, the study shows.

The conservative media watchdog organization evaluated the nightly newscasts of ABC, CBS and NBC from September 1 to October 26.

According to MRC, “the Big Three evening newscasts aired 115 stories which mentioned or discussed the midterm elections” with a total airtime of 213 minutes during the three-month span.

Thanks to Democrats, Americans are tackling soaring inflation, a border crisis, the perils of authoritarian Covid policies and crime waves as the Biden administration ferociously attempts to normalize the sexualization of children and promote body dysphoria.

Regardless of failing Democrat leadership, the networks are devoted to “blasting Republicans,” the study shows.

“Overall this fall, Democrats (including President Biden) drew 13 positive comments vs. 26 negative ones, for a 67% negative spin. That’s not great, but not nearly as bad as Republicans, who were slammed with 94 negative comments vs. 14 positive statements, a spin score of 87 percent negative — and virtually identical to the 88 percent negative spin for the whole GOP (including Trump) in 2018,” MRC notes.

Three GOP candidates, Republicans, Congressional candidate Herschel Walker of Georgia, Senatorial candidate Mehmet Oz of Pennsylvania and Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake generated the most bad press.

Lake had the most negative score of all candidates with a 100% bad press rating. 

On the Democrat side, John Fetterman of Pennsylvania received the worst coverage of any Democrat following his cringe-worthy debate performance against Oz in October.

Analysts found the networks aired significantly more positive coverage of Joe Biden in 2022 than former President Donald Trump during the 2018 midterm elections. Nearly all network reference of Trump ahead of the 2018 midterms was negative.

However, the networks are refraining from mentioning Biden at all.

According to MRC, the mainstream media is “burying Biden.”

“While President Trump was a huge focus of network coverage four years ago (accounting for 48% all midterm campaign airtime in 2018, more than all of the individual House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates combined), the networks aren’t interested in targeting President Biden this year. Biden accounted for just 34 minutes of midterm coverage, just 16 percent of total campaign coverage,” the watchdog group reports.

A Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) insider agreed to speak with Gateway Pundit confidentially.  According to this Source, the public are being placed in danger because of STL Circuit Attorney (prosecutor) Kim Gardner’s ideological insanity and Mayor Tishaura Jones’ failure to take law enforcement seriously.

Gardner, one of the George Soros-funded zealot prosecutors across the nation who are ideologically dedicated to NOT prosecuting crime, was originally elected in 2017.  Since then, most attorneys in her office quit in protest.

Gardner is infamous not only for her participation in the nakedly corrupt 2018 coup d’etat against then Governor Eric Greitens (among the worst stains on Missouri politics in its history) but also for maintaining a blacklist of an estimated 300 police officers.

The significance of the blacklist is that Gardner will not accept criminal case referrals from collars (arrests) made by any of the officers on that list.  Pay attention to this as we start doing math in a moment.  This means that if one of the blacklisted officers catches a murderer, Gardner WON’T PROSECUTE THE CRIMINAL.

Meanwhile, Mayor Tishaura Jones has refused to authorize pay increases for police to bring the City of St. Louis to parity or nearly to parity with other regional police departments.  For example, St. Louis City cops can flee to St. Louis County and earn an immediate $20,000 to $30,000 pay raise.  As a bonus, these police then are actually freed to pursue fleeing suspects, wear improved body armor, and be reasonably assured that their arrests and police work will lead to putting criminals behind bars – instead of destroying the region.

Gardner, along with most city leaders, trash newspaper St. Louis Post-Dispatch, mentally handicapped Representative Cori Bush, and bumbling Mayor Tishaura Jones have been fighting to outdo each other in demonizing St. Louis cops.

The result has been complete demoralization, multi-year mass resignation, staff shortages, and complete anarchy in the streets.

How bad is it?  Let’s look at the numbers.

By the Police Commissioner’s own admission, a fully staffed police force consists of 1,300 officers, roughly 3 quarters of which are patrol cops who police the city’s six police districts:

However, while this is what the public is told, the truth is far worse. 

In early October, Commissioner Sack sent out the following email to all police:

“We continue to face staffing shortages in our Civilian and Commissioned positions.  Last year on 10/4/21 we had 905 Police Officers/ Detectives and this year on 10/3/22 we have 811 Police Officers/ Detectives.  This puts a burden on us to perform our duties with fewer Officers.  We must pay attention to staffing in the line platoons and on squads.  No squad should have fewer than five Officers with the optimum number being seven Officers.  I wish I could give you more, but this is the reality.

In light of the losses we have been experiencing, there continues to be a need to staff some positions and to fill long-vacant jobs.  For example, the three area station positions have been detached Sergeants.  These positions have been posted, as well as some in other specialized assignments.  These positions are to clean up reassigned duties, consolidate work, and accurately portray where people are working.

I have a great deal of respect for each of you.  Thank you for everything you do.  It is deeply appreciated.

According to our Source, All staff across the department are in short supply.  For example, there is a shortage of radio dispatchers.  Each police district is supposed to have its own radio channel, but now multiple districts are on the same channel because the department can’t fill the dispatcher roles.

Here’s the bottom line: at any given time, there might be only four (that’s right FOUR) policemen patrolling AN ENTIRE POLICE DISTRICT, driving around the city. 

Bottom Line #2: At any given time (there are 3 shifts), across the ENTIRE CITY OF SAINT LOUIS, there are approximately only 50 Police Officers* at the ready across ALL six police districts.  Doing some math, if the police receive roughly 1,800 emergency and non-emergency calls to respond to per day, there is no possible way for the department to respond to all calls for service.

*Note: we’re not counting detectives because, per our Source, detectives rarely ever handle radio assignments.

This means there is no such thing as proactive policing (traffic stops due to speeding, erratic driving, busted tail lights, suspected drug deals, etc.) and arrests are plummeting.  Why?  Because when you have to respond to hundreds of calls and write 2 dozen reports, there’s no time for traffic stops or nearly anything else.

“I mean, I’m sure they’re [SLMPD flaks] going to say that my numbers are wrong, and they’re going to try and say there are 20 policemen working per shift [per district], but they’re counting detectives, they’re counting Officers on different assignments where they’re not handling radio calls.  And remember, during the day watch is when most Police Officers are working – basically from 8 am to 5 pm.  After 5 pm, the police force numbers go down – but that’s when crime goes up, because of the darkness.”

BURNOUT

The shortage of commissioned officers is taking a heavy toll on Saint Louis cops.  They are repeatedly asked to work overtime – that is, an additional 8-hour shift after completing their original 8-hour shift.  To quote our Source: “Just think of the mental toll on these guys [overworked Police Officers] working as much as they do.  Most guys work 7 days straight with 2 days off.  The department is allowing them to hold their time off and take it next year to keep manpower up.”

St. Louis ranks as the most unsafe city in the US.

Upon review of large swaths of social media from Saint Louis residents, it’s unbelievable.  Car jackings, muggings, assaults, and other violent crime.  It’s an epidemic.   Unfortunately, because there is a de facto “defund the police” objective in the City of Saint Louis, crime will continue to get worse, and the public will suffer; so too will police and the families they come home to, if they’re lucky enough to come home.

“I’m not paid to say that,” the California lawmaker told CBS’ Major Garrett in an interview Tuesday. “You know… I get it. Look, I mean, I could be the cheerleader. I’m also pragmatic. You feel it.”

Newsom didn’t attribute Democrat policies on the economy, crime, Covid or border security to the GOP’s advantage ahead of the election.

It’s the Democrat Party’s inability to galvanize support for its narratives that will result in a red wave, he argued.

“It goes to my fundamental grievance with my damn party,” Newsome lamented. “We are getting crushed on narrative”

“We are going to have to do better in terms of getting on the offense and stop being on the damn defense,” he conceded.

The California Governor maintains he has no plans for a White House bid.

“It’s not my ambition. It’s not the direction that I’m leading into,” Newsom said. “I have no interest.”

Newsom said the prospects of GOP Rep. Kevin McCarthy ascending to Speaker of the House fill him with “fear.”

“What he’s done to aid and abet this notion, the Big Lie,” he admonished, “how he is aiding and abetting mostly authoritarian leaders across his party — yeah, it scares the hell out of me.”

Radical Leftist Arizona Democrat gubernatorial nominee Katie Hobbs’ husband is a child therapist for “transgender children,” according to a new report and lawsuit he was named in.

This is why Katie Hobbs has shown support for youth transgender surgery amid new Arizona laws prohibiting children from receiving permanent gender reassignment surgery and boys from participating in girls’ sports.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Katie Hobbs also voted against legislation amending Arizona Revised Statutes to include our historic national motto and the Arizona State motto in the state’s school curriculum. Instead, Hobbs introduced overly sexual education laws that would begin in the first grade and promote homosexuality in young children.

In March, Democrats in Arizona rallied to “protect trans youth” after Republicans in the Arizona Legislature passed new laws protecting children from permanent gender reassignment surgery and woke gender theory in sports.

SB 1138 will prohibit physicians from performing irreversible gender reassignment surgeries on minors, and SB 1165 will keep biological males out of women’s sports.

At the same time, Katie Hobbs released a vile statement, standing in solidarity with transgender minors.

“My heart goes out to the entire LGBTQ+ community, especially our youth, who are being targeted and discriminated against by their own government, and being denied their freedom of identity,” said Katie Hobbs.

Why would Katie Hobbs support gender mutilation for children?

The Daily Wire reported,

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs’ husband is a child psychiatrist who was named in an explosive lawsuit brought against the state by the parents of a 10-year-old transgender child in 2020, according to documents reviewed by The Daily Wire.

Patrick Goodman is a psychiatrist on staff at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and specializes “in serving youth and families affected by trauma and grief.” Goodman is also listed on an undated document as a provider in the hospital’s “gender support program” serving “gender diverse” and transgender youth.

The details of Goodman’s work at the medical center are unclear. Phoenix Children’s Hospital did not respond to multiple requests to make Goodman available for an interview.

Hobbs, a Democrat, is facing Republican Kari Lake in the race to replace Republican Governor Doug Ducey, who is term-limited out of office at the end of the year. Hobbs has publicly supported sex change surgeries for minors. In March, she condemned Ducey for signing legislation banning sex change surgeries for minors and blocking biological males from competing in female sports’ leagues.

The hospital that employs Goodman takes a gender affirming approach to the treatment of children diagnosed with gender dysphoria or who identify as a sex different from their biological sex, according to the hospital’s website.

“Every child has a different way of expressing gender and some may express themselves in ways that are different from what we expect. Many gender expansive children are comfortable with the sex they were assigned at birth. However, there are times when a child may assert a gender identity that is different from, or not consistent with, the sex they were assigned at birth. They may also say they’re not comfortable with their physical sex characteristics,” the website says.

The hospital identifies three different categories of gender confused youth. Gender-expansive youth “express a wider, more flexible range of gender identity and/or expression than typically associated with their sex assigned at birth.” Gender questioning youth “are exploring and discovering their gender identities.” Transgender youth is an umbrella term “for children and youth whose gender identity is different from their sex assigned at birth.”

In 2020, the hospital was indirectly involved in a lawsuit brought against the state on behalf of three transgender children. The children’s guardians sued the state to force it to change the birth certificate of each child to reflect the gender each now identifies as, rather than their biological sex. In Arizona, people are allowed to change their birth certificates only after undergoing a sex change operation.

Goodman is identified as a therapist to one of the children involved in the lawsuit, a 10-year-old trans girl identified in court documents as Jane Doe. In one document dated November 9, 2020, Goodman was identified as a potential witness in the case, expected to testify on the child’s treatment. Goodman was to testify in relation to Jane Doe’s request for a preliminary injunction to force the state to change the child’s birth certificate ahead of the start of the school year.

“Patrick Goodman is a therapist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Jane Doe’s mental health provider. He is expected to testify regarding his mental health treatment of Jane Doe’s gender dysphoria and opinion regarding Jane’s health and well-being absent injunctive relief,” a court filing states. The case is ongoing and it was not clear if Goodman has taken the stand.

In the case of Goodman’s patient, the boy began “expressing” himself as a girl at “two-and-a-half years old,” according to court documents.

“Jane’s parents initially thought this was a phase, but Jane persisted. Eventually, they brought her to a child psychologist specializing in care for young children with some prior experience with transgender youth, Dr. Beth Onufrak. Dr. Onufrak evaluated Jane over several sessions and concluded that Jane would meet the diagnostic criteria for gender dysphoria,” a filing says.

When it came time for Doe to start second grade, Doe’s parents asked the school to allow their child to attend as a girl. The school agreed, but students recognized Doe. The teasing and bullying lasted for several years before Doe’s parents attempted to enroll their child in a new school where the children wouldn’t know Doe’s history, according to the suit.

“The new school where they would like to enroll her, however, will not enroll Jane as female without a corrected birth certificate,” court documents state. Doe’s parents did not seek medical treatment due to Doe’s age. Under legislation Ducey signed into law this year, Doe cannot legally receive sex-reassignment surgery until age 18.

“Without a corrected birth certificate, Jane will be required to reveal that she is transgender to this new school. That will prevent her from safely moving to another school where she is free from pervasive harassment and bullying that prevent her from learning and cause her further significant emotional harm,” the lawsuit states. “Jane’s parents seek to correct the sex listed on Jane’s birth certificate so that she can enroll in a new school before having to return in person to her current school, but are prevented from doing so because of Arizona’s surgical requirement.”

Litigation in the case remains ongoing. In the latest filings available, the court approved the plaintiffs’ request to compel information from the state on several questions after the plaintiffs filed a new complaint.

If Katie Hobbs were the Governor of Arizona, she would likely overturn the new laws protecting minors from permanent life-altering surgery, helping her husband continue these disgusting practices.

Trump-Endorsed Republican Gubernatorial Nominee Kari Lake exposed this news yesterday at her Arizona First Rally in Ahwatukee, Arizona, and said, “we cannot let this monster anywhere near the governor’s office.”

Lake later said, “If you’re getting rich in politics, you are corrupt as heck.”

Kari Lake also called out the fake news media, saying, “I wonder if the fake news will cover it.”

Trump-Endorsed Arizona Gubernatorial Nominee Kari Lake responded to Hillary Clinton accusing her of laughing at Paul Pelosi on Thursday, telling the world, “I’m in perfect health. My brakes on my car are in good shape, and I am not suicidal.”

Many who have been close to the Clinton family have allegedly died mysteriously or “committed suicide” over the years.

This includes Jeffery Epstein, who Bill Clinton partied with on Epstein’s pedophile island. Clinton made at least 27 times trips on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane. Most of those flights were with underage girls.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the half-naked homeless illegal immigrant named David DePape, who apparently assaulted Paul Pelosi with a hammer inside his home. Pelosi also called DePape his “friend” in a call with 911.

This leaves us with more questions than answers about what happened that night, but given his background, it is clear DePape is not a “MAGA extremist” like the fake news media and the Democrats would have you believe.

Hillary Clinton recently labeled David DePape, a far-left illegal alien from Canada, a Republican “cult member.”

Yesterday on CNN, Hillary criticized Lake’s comments at her Ask Me Anything Tour, where Lake was asked about how she will increase school safety. Lake responded, “It is not impossible to protect our kids at school. They act like it is. Nancy Pelosi, she’s got protection when she’s in DC. Apparently, her house doesn’t have a lot of protection. But, if our lawmakers can have protection, if our politicians can have protection, if our athletes, then certainly the most important people in our lives, our children, should have protection.”

Lake also suggested that criminal charges need to be delivered to the COVID-19 decision-makers who shut down the state of Arizona, as The Gateway Pundit reported.

Evidently, this was too much for Hillary Clinton, who said this is “sadly a real indicator of where we are in our country right now.” Clinton then accused Lake of laughing at Paul Pelosi’s “attack.”

But anybody who looks at the story of David DePape and Paul Pelosi probably would laugh. This is perhaps the most bizarre occurrence of 2022, and the San Francisco District Attorney refuses to release any of the police bodycam footage or 911 audio.

If this happened to any conservative with no transparency, the left and late-night comedy shows would have a field day!

Lake responded to Clinton’s comments on Hannity yesterday, and it was hilarious.

My brakes on my car are in good shape, and I am not suicidal. And we’re gonna win this thing on Tuesday.

Marshal Neefe, a 25-year-old Pennsylvania man, has been incarcerated for over a year since his arrest on September 13, 2021 for his actions on January 6, 2021.

As The Gateway Pundit reported on Thursday, Neefe and his friend Smith was accused of participating in hurling a massive trump sign at police, via reporting at American Gulag.

The DOJ documents describe the incident.

Neefe and Smith traveled to Washington, D.C. together. On Jan. 6, both illegally entered the Capitol grounds. Neefe carried the wooden club and participated in hoisting and pushing a large metal sign frame – at least eight feet tall and 10 feet wide — into a defensive line of officers attempting to prevent the crowd from further advancing on the west front plaza of the Capitol. Neefe later entered the Capitol building, including the Rotunda, disregarding commands to leave.

In September Marshall Neefe was sentenced to 41 months in prison for hurling a large Trump sign with a metal frame at police.

But Marshall Neefe was not acting alone.  Ray Epps was helping Marshall Neefe and others lift the Trump sign and hurl it at police. 

Epps was directing protesters that day.  Ray Epps encouraged Trump supporters to storm the US Capitol.  He is on video on Jan 5th and Jan 6th telling Trump supporters to storm the US Capitol.

Ray Epps is a free man.  He was NEVER arrested after encouraging Trump supporters to rush the Capitol Police — And now we have evidence that Ray Epps helped hurl the giant Trump sign at police.

In this damning video, Ray Epps is filmed hoisting the massive Trump sign with several other Trump supporters.

You can see Ray Epps in the video near the corner of the sign.

The protesters walk it over to where the police are standing outside the US Capitol.

Ray Epps is with them the entire time. After the sign is released the Ray Epps pops up and is seen standing and directing the crowd.

Ray Epps has never been arrested for directing the crowds into the US Capitol on January 6.

Ray Epps was not arrested for hurling the massive Trump sign at police.

Marshall Neefe will sit in prison for 41 months.

But Ray Epps is a free man. He was never arrested and the FBI actually removed his image from their most wanted list.
