Trump-Endorsed Arizona State Senate incumbent Wendy Rogers recently spoke to The Gateway Pundit about the new Republican Legislature’s plan to secure the southern border under the next Governor, Kari Lake.

Kari Lake has vowed to declare an invasion on the border and finish the wall starting on day one in office.

Rogers also commented on holding the fake news media accountable for their lies and protecting election integrity in Arizona.

Senator Rogers discussed these plans and other candidates she supports with The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson on Saturday night after Kari Lake’s rally with Trump-Endorsed Blake Masters and Abe Hamadeh.

“I was able to get $335 million for the wall,” Rogers said regarding the southern border of Arizona.

She told us that Arizona must reelect State Senator Nancy Barto and elect former police officer Robert Scantlebury to get a 2/3 majority in the Senate and enact meaningful legislation.

We also asked Senator Rogers about her plans to work with State Rep. Jake Hoffman on legislation to hold the fake news media accountable for their election interference.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Rep. Hoffman promises to introduce legislation to hold the media accountable for election interference following the FOX10 stunt where they aired the “results” of the upcoming gubernatorial election 12 days before the actual election during their live broadcast.

Rogers said that she will make sure this legislation is strong and that it has “teeth in it.” She further indicated that with a 2/3 majority in the legislature, they can finally pass strong election integrity bills, including “one day, in person, paper only.” She is expected to chair the Arizona Senate Government Committee and pass some of the best legislation in the Country.

Rogers also vowed to use SB1487 against the rogue County officials who disregard the law without consequences. Under this law, a member of the Arizona Legislature may request an investigation, and the Attorney General is required to investigate any official action adopted or taken by the governing body of a county, city, or town that a legislator alleges violates state law or the Arizona Constitution.

We recently reported that rogue RINO Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer violated laws by using his office to campaign against a ballot initiative that would require all voters to have proof of registration regardless of how, when, or where their ballot is cast.

Conradson: What are you looking forward to most next session? Are we going to secure Arizona’s border or what?

Rogers: Absolutely. I was able to get $335 million for the wall. And you know, and I know, that Governor Kari Lake will build the wall.

Conradson: I know you’re supporting Kari Lake, you’re supporting Blake Masters Abe Hamadeh. What other Republican nominees for office are you looking at this election? What are the key seats that we need to fill with America first Republicans?

Rogers: Well, we have some State Senate colleagues that I’ve been helping, namely Nancy Barto, who’s in a very tight race in Phoenix/Paradise Valley area. She’s been in the legislature for 16 years. She’s the finest mind in the legislature for Health and Human Services. And I’ve also been helping former police officer Rob Scantlebury over in the Mesa area, and when I say help, I help them raise money. I knock doors, and it’s my honor, because we’ve only had a one vote majority in the Arizona Senate. So we need to keep Nancy Barto, we need to elect Rob Scantlebury and others. We want to have 19, possibly 20 seats out of 30 so that we have a two thirds majority.

Conradson: We recently saw from the fake news media false, defamatory stories about Kari Lake, and following that, Arizona State Rep. Jake Hoffman said he’s going to introduce legislation to hold the fake news accountable. What do you think that will look like and will you support that legislation?

Rogers: I will support that legislation, but we have to have teeth in it. You have to have teeth in a bill to assess a consequence to someone who violates it. And so I will be working with Jake to make sure that we put through cogent legislation that has a consequence to it. We had a lot of feel good bills this last session. They were difficult to get through because we only had the one vote majority and they weren’t strong. And now we have to make strong legislation that has consequences and namely legislation that will restore election integrity. I’m looking forward to leading on the government committee, so that we have legislation to shore up election integrity in terms of one day, in person, paper only. That’s what we will be striving for.

Conradson: We recently reported on The Gateway Pundit that Stephen Richer violated two election laws by illegally electioneering against a voter ID law. Will you vow to hold county officials accountable using this 1487 and sending it to Abe Hamadeh?

Rogers: Absolutely. We need to use that tool more and more to hold these rogue county officials accountable. They flout the law. And why have a state of Arizona legislature if you’re going to have lesser entities flout the law? It’s just not right.

No one knows what happened at the Pelosi mansion. Not yet.
But I sure can take an educated guess about what happened.

From the emails I got over the weekend from hundreds of my TV and radio fans, it’s no secret. Everyone believes they know what happened. This cover story is so rancid, no one fell for it. There are rumors flying around the Internet by the millions. One thing is for sure- the Pelosis aren’t fooling anyone. The whole world knows the cover story is complete B.S.

I have no special insider status. But I have common sense. So, let me present my perspective.

First, I lived for many years in a beautiful, gated, high-security, country club in the suburbs of Las Vegas. My neighbor was Harry Reid. He lived just down the street. A very high-class street I might add. Just like all Democrat politicians, Harry was a fraud. He fought against walls, but he chose to live in a place with walls and gates. He fought against guns for the citizens, but he was guarded by armed security at that gate. He fought against Voter ID, but no one could enter our community without government-issued photo ID.

Now we get to the Pelosi-like part of this story.

Harry was Senate Majority Leader when he moved into my exclusive community. Separate from the gate, and walls, and armed security that guarded our community, Harry also had his own capitol police force to watch over him and his home. There was an unmarked police car parked outside his home at all times. When Harry went for his morning walk, he was always accompanied by two armed capitol police officers.

Harry was Senate Majority Leader. An important position. But it isn’t nearly as important as House Speaker. Nancy Pelosi is 2nd in line of succession for the Presidency. Wouldn’t you think she would have the highest-level security detail around her, and her home, and family, at all times? Not just Capitol Police, but Secret Service?

Of course, she must have.

Wouldn’t you think the federal government (at their expense) would have installed the best and highest tech security systems and surveillance cameras at her residence, and all around her street?

Of course, they did.

One more thing. Nancy and Paul Pelosi aren’t just any political family. They’re worth in excess of a hundred million dollars.

Some say they’re worth hundreds of millions of dollars. So, wouldn’t they have spent a fortune of their own money to guarantee the best security possible? With all the threats against this high-profile and controversial House Speaker, wouldn’t they have paid for a security detail 24/7 for herself and her family?

Of course, you and I both know she never had to pay for a thing- she made sure the taxpayers paid for the best security money can buy.

My educated guess is there was always a police car, or unmarked car, outside her residence, at all times. Maybe multiple vehicles. And a security detail inside the home, at all times. Maybe Capitol Police, maybe Secret Service, maybe both. And alarms, and cameras, and the best security locks on doors that money can buy. Right?

So how did a stranger IN HIS UNDERWEAR get into House Speaker Pelosi’s mansion at 2 AM? Did he walk by the outside cop car in his underwear? Did he break a window, or break down the door to the 2nd in line of succession to the presidency of the United States and no one noticed? Was the outside security detail asleep?

And once inside the mansion, the intruder wasn’t met by a police officer, or secret service agent stationed inside? Where were they? Also asleep?

Just like the prison guards protecting Jeffrey Epstein?

And no alarm went off? And there’s no video footage multiple angles both outside this very special home, and inside? The husband of the woman who is 2nd in line of succession for the presidency had to call 911 like any mere mortal? Really? He didn’t have any private security inside the home, or waiting right outside? If so, who opened the door for police?

Or was Paul Pelosi doing what he always does when Nancy was away- with private security in attendance? We all know JFK was involved in many illicit extra-curricular activities inside the White House- with Secret Service protecting him and covering up for him at all times. So, was Paul’s security detail on premises? If so, why didn’t they protect him?

When Paul Pelosi called 911, why did Paul say he knew the man and his name was David? Isn’t that odd to know the name of your attacker and mention it to a police dispatcher? By the way, how did the attacker allow Pelosi to go the bathroom and make that call?

I’m not 2nd in line of succession to be president. I’m not worth hundreds of millions of dollars. But no stranger could ever get into my home like that. So, how did he get into the Pelosi mansion? You mean I have more security than the person who is 2nd in line of succession to be President of the United States?

So, the Paul Pelosi story doesn’t make sense.

And everyone knows it. Millions of Americans think they know exactly what happened.

Was “David” invited in by Paul at 2 AM with Nancy away? If so, why? I’ll leave you with that question. The only piece of the puzzle left to ponder…is this more like a Jussie Smollett fraud scandal, with a story that is pure fraud and fantasy, or more like the Hunter Biden laptop scandal? Or a combination of both?

Hunter’s laptop would have destroyed Biden and the entire Democrat Party before the 2020 presidential election. So, Democrats and the mainstream media colluded in a terrible conspiracy to cover it up. To make it go away.

But I have bad news for Democrats. The American people already know. This time the coverup didn’t work. On November 8th you will find out the Silent Majority has had enough of your lies, frauds and coverups.

I wish the Pelosi’s well. I wish Paul a full and swift recovery. I wish you both a long and healthy life- in the private sector, or in retirement. Far from the halls of power in DC. It’s time for Pelosi political dynasty to go away.

The Department of Justice on Monday announced two federal criminal charges against David DePape.

“DePape was charged with attempted kidnapping, and with retaliating against a federal official by threatening or injuring a family member.” CNBC reported.

The US government will now control and hide the evidence – and shape the national media narrative.

MSNBC reported Monday morning that Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), is in the ICU surrounded by family as he recovers from a hammer attack to his head by an alleged intruder last Friday at the couple’s San Francisco home. Meanwhile, his accused attacker also remains hospitalized with unknown injuries.

Right. That’s unbelievable. Especially with the children who never should have been taking the vaccine. There was never, ever any evidence from the get go from back in Italy when Italy had its outbreak that children were being infected in a large extent by this disease. It just wasn’t there. You know, I talked to Foster and he brought up a term I had never heard. He called it instead of prescribed, he called it “De-prescribed” from different pharmaceuticals. And that was part of what he wanted to do. Can you explain that a little bit?

Dr. Peter McCullough:
You know, there are some opportunities for what’s called “deprescribing.” So as patients improve, I mean, one of the single greatest things that people can do is for who are overweight or obese, lose weight. You’ll be amazed how many medicines can be basically deprescribed or not needed anymore with weight loss. Another is improving diet. As diet is improved it is amazing how many how many medicines are not needed. And not only that, but there’s a lot more research now on nutraceuticals and supplements, which are, you know, available over the counter or available through the Wellness Company store. They’re very inexpensive. And there are conditions where there’s just classically medicines piled on that are ineffective. So, for instance: peripheral neuropathies. Oh my Lord, there’s so many peripheral neuropathies now post COVID, and with the post vaccine injury and all the drugs that are used at he toxicities they’re minimally effective.

Now, there’s an entire area of neuropsychiatric disease, for instance, where drugs are prescribed, they’re minimally effective. And alternative approaches are, are being sought. So, you know, we really are gonna bolster with experts who, who have the ability, in a sense, to de-prescribe or safely take people into simpler medication regimens. Not every American needs to be walking around on, you know, six to 16 different prescription medicines. I mean, we have to get to a point of being reasonable. Now, I’m a traditional allopathic doctor in my practice here in Dallas. I prescribe drugs every day. But I do recognize there is a risk of overprescribing it. And I see this commonly in American medicine, though.

The US Justice Department announced charges against David DePape on Monday, three days after the alleged assault on Paul Pelosi at her home in the Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Paul Pelosi was allegedly home alone when the attack took place.

David DePape is a homeless drug addict.  Sometimes he stays at the home of his nudist exwife who was arrested for on sex crime charges with a minor.

According to Michael Shellenberger:

As I discovered yesterday, DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree. A closer look reveals the characteristics of a homeless encampment, or what Europeans call “an open drug scene.” In the driveway, there is a broken-down camper van. On the street is a yellow school bus, which neighbors said DePape occasionally stayed in. Both are filled with garbage typical of such structures in homeless encampments. People come and go from the house and the vehicles, neighbors say, in part to partake in the use of a potent psychedelic drug, ibogaine.

Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with a politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior. “What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists,” said one of DePape’s neighbors, a woman who only gave her first name, Trish. “They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”

The Justice Department announced federal charges against David DePape, 42, in the attack last Friday on Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), at the couple’s San Francisco home. DePape is being charged with assault on a family member of a U.S. official and one count of attempted kidnapping of a U.S. official, Nancy Pelosi, who was not home at the time.

In the charging documents, the Justice Department, via interviews with Paul Pelosi and DePape lay out the government’s version of events (TGPsummary):

The two men did not know each other. DePape broke into the house via a rear door using a hammer and went upstairs looking for Nancy Pelosi. He found Paul Pelosi in bed and told him he was looking for Nancy. Not finding her home he told Paul he would wait for her. He let Paul go to the bathroom where Paul made a 911 call, which apparently DePape overheard. The two went downstairs where Paul opened the door when police knocked. Paul was not attacked until police arrived when he was apparently beaten unconscious by DePape with a hammer while police confronted the men. DePape had a bag with zip ties, rope, tape, gloves, another hammer and a journal.

DePape said his plan was to hold Nancy Pelosi hostage to get her to tell the truth and let her go if she did tell the truth, but if she lied he would break her kneecaps.

“DEPAPE also later explained that by breaking Nancy’s kneecaps, she would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions.”

Both men were interviewed by law enforcement, with DePape reportedly speaking after being read his Miranda rights.

Man Charged with Assault and Attempted Kidnapping Following Breaking and Entering of Pelosi Residence
A California man was charged today with assault and attempted kidnapping in violation of federal law in connection with the break-in at the residence of Nancy and Paul Pelosi in San Francisco on Friday.

According to the complaint, David Wayne DePape, 42, of Richmond, was arrested on Friday inside the Pelosi residence by San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) police officers responding to a 911 call from Paul Pelosi, husband of U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Paul Pelosi later described to police that he had been asleep when DePape, whom he had never seen before, entered his bedroom looking for Nancy Pelosi.

According to the complaint, minutes after the 911 call, two police officers responded to the Pelosi residence where they encountered Paul Pelosi and DePape struggling over a hammer. Officers told the men to drop the hammer, and DePape allegedly gained control of the hammer and swung it, striking Pelosi in the head. Officers immediately restrained DePape, while Pelosi appeared to be unconscious on the ground. As set forth in the complaint, once DePape was restrained, officers secured a roll of tape, white rope, a second hammer, a pair of rubber and cloth gloves, and zip ties from the crime scene, where officers also observed a broken glass door to the back porch.

DePape is charged with one count of assault of an immediate family member of a United States official with the intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties, which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. DePape is also charged with one count of attempted kidnapping of a United States official on account of the performance of official duties, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

U.S. Attorney Stephanie M. Hinds for the Northern District of California, Special Agent in Charge Robert K. Tripp of the FBI San Francisco Field Office, and Chief J. Thomas Manger of the U.S. Capitol Police made the announcement.

The Special Prosecutions Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California is prosecuting the case.

The FBI San Francisco Field Office, the U.S. Capitol Police, and the San Francisco Police Department are investigating the case.

9. On October 28, 2022, at 2:23 a.m., San Francisco Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call
from Paul Pelosi (“Pelosi”) located at the Pelosi residence in San Francisco, California. Pelosi
stated words to the effect of there is a male in the home and that the male is going to wait for
Pelosi’s wife. Pelosi further conveyed that he does not know who the male is. The male said his
name is David.
10. At 2:31 a.m., San Francisco Police Department (“SFPD”) Officer Colby Wilmes
responded to the Pelosi residence, California and knocked on the front door. When the door was
opened, Pelosi and DEPAPE were both holding a hammer with one hand and DEPAPE had his
other hand holding onto Pelosi’s forearm. Pelosi greeted the officers. The officers asked them
what was going on. DEPAPE responded that everything was good. Officers then asked Pelosi
and DEPAPE to drop the hammer.

11. DEPAPE pulled the hammer from Pelosi’s hand and swung the hammer, striking
Pelosi in the head. Officers immediately went inside and were able to restrain DEPAPE. While
officers were restraining DEPAPE, Pelosi appeared to be unconscious on the ground.
Officers removed a cell phone, cash, clipper cards, and an unidentified card from DEPAPE’s
right shorts pocket. DEPAPE provided officers his first and last name. After officers asked
DEPAPE if he had an ID on him, DEPAPE said it might be in his backpack on the back porch
and later stated his backpack was near the broken glass. When officers removed DEPAPE from
Pelosi’s residence, police body worn camera footage showed a glass door that appeared to be
laminated glass, broken near the door handle. San Francisco Police Department recovered zip
ties in Pelosi’s bedroom and in the hallway near the front door of the Pelosi residence. In
addition, law enforcement searched DEPAPE’s backpack at the Pelosi residence, and they found,
among other things, a roll of tape, white rope, one hammer, one pair of rubber and cloth gloves,
and a journal.

Witness Statements
12. SFPD Officer Colby Wilmes was able to interview a witness, Witness 1, who saw
an individual in all black, carrying a large black bag on his back, walking near the Pelosi
residence where Witness 1 was parked. Witness 1 was working private security at an address
nearby. Witness 1 then heard what sounded like banging on either a door or car and then heard
the sirens within a minute or two.

13. Pelosi was interviewed by SFPD Officer Ariane Starks in the ambulance during
transport to San Francisco General Hospital. Pelosi stated he had never seen DEPAPE before.
Pelosi was asleep when DEPAPE came into Pelosi’s bedroom and stated he wanted to talk to
“Nancy.”1 When Pelosi told him that Nancy was not there, DEPAPE stated that he would sit and
wait. Pelosi stated that his wife would not be home for several days and then DEPAPE reiterated
that he would wait. Pelosi was able to go into the bathroom which is when he was able to call 9-
1-1. Pelosi stated that when the officers arrived, that was when DEPAPE struck him with the
hammer.
14. In a subsequent interview with law enforcement officers on October 30, 2022,
Paul Pelosi stated that DEPAPE had a hammer with him during the events described above at the
Pelosi residence. Further, the hammer did not belong to the Pelosi family.
DEPAPE’S Interview on October 28, 2022:

15. In a Mirandized and recorded interview of DEPAPE by San Francisco Police
Department Officers, DEPAPE provided the following information:
a. DEPAPE stated that he was going to hold Nancy hostage and talk to her. If
Nancy were to tell DEPAPE the “truth,” he would let her go, and if she “lied,” he
was going to break “her kneecaps.” DEPAPE was certain that Nancy would not
have told the “truth.” In the course of the interview, DEPAPE articulated he
viewed Nancy as the “leader of the pack” of lies told by the Democratic Party.
DEPAPE also later explained that by breaking Nancy’s kneecaps, she would then
have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress
there were consequences to actions. DEPAPE also explained generally that he
wanted to use Nancy to lure another individual to DEPAPE

b. DEPAPE stated that he broke into the house through a glass door, which was a
difficult task that required the use of a hammer. DEPAPE stated that Pelosi was in
bed and appeared surprised by DEPAPE. DEPAPE told Pelosi to wake up.
DEPAPE told Pelosi that he was looking for Nancy. Pelosi responded that she
was not present. Pelosi asked how they could resolve the situation, and what

DEPAPE wanted to do. DEPAPE stated he wanted to tie Pelosi up so that
DEPAPE could go to sleep as he was tired from having had to carry a backpack to
the Pelosi residence. Around this time, according to DEPAPE, DEPAPE started
taking out twist ties from his pocket so that he could restrain Pelosi. Pelosi
moved towards another part of the house, but DEPAPE stopped him and together
they went back into the bedroom.
c. While talking with each other, Pelosi went into a bathroom, where Pelosi grabbed
a phone to call 9-1-1. DEPAPE stated he felt like Pelosi’s actions compelled him
to respond.
d. DEPAPE remembered thinking that there was no way the police were going to
forget about the phone call. DEPAPE explained that he did not leave after
Pelosi’s call to 9-1-1 because, much like the American founding fathers with the
British, he was fighting against tyranny without the option of surrender. DEPAPE
reiterated this sentiment elsewhere in the interview.
e. DEPAPE stated that they went downstairs to the front door. The police arrived
and knocked on the door, and Pelosi ran over and opened it. Pelosi grabbed onto
DEPAPE’s hammer, which was in DEPAPE’s hand. At this point in the
interview, DEPAPE repeated that DEPAPE did not plan to surrender and that he
would go “through” Pelosi.
f. DEPAPE stated that he pulled the hammer away from Pelosi and swung the
hammer towards Pelosi. DEPAPE explained that Pelosi’s actions resulted in
Pelosi “taking the punishment instead.”

Items Found at DEPAPE’s Residence
16. On October 29, 2022, law enforcement determined that DEPAPE lived in the
garage of a residence on Shasta Street in Richmond, California, by interviewing the owner of the
premises who confirmed that DEPAPE has resided in the garage for approximately two years.

17. On October 29, 2022, law enforcement searched the garage at the Shasta Street
residence pursuant to a federal search warrant. Among other things, agents seized two hammers,
a sword, and a pair of rubber and cloth gloves. The agents also found evidence that DEPAPE
lived in the garage, including DMV paperwork, IRS letters, and Paypal credit cards.

CONCLUSION
18. Based on the information above, there is probable cause to believe that David
DEPAPE intentionally assaulted Paul Pelosi in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 115(a)(1)(A) and
attempted to kidnap Speaker Nancy Pelosi in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §1201(d). Therefore, I
respectfully request that the Court issue a criminal complaint and arrest warrant against
DEPAPE.

President Trump on Monday filed an emergency appeal with the US Supreme Court to block the Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee from getting his tax returns.

Recall, just one day after the FBI raided Trump’s Florida residence, a court ruled that the former president’s tax returns must be released to the House Ways and Means Committee.

A panel for the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled 3-0 in August, upholding a prior decision by a federal judge.

Trump took the legal battle to the Supreme Court on Monday.

CNBC reported:

Former President Donald Trump on Monday asked the Supreme Court to block a judge’s order that the IRS give years of his tax returns to the House Ways and Means Committee later this week.

The request to delay the execution of the judicial order pending a planned appeal came days after Trump lost an attempt to reverse the order at a federal appeals court.

“This case raises important questions about the separation of powers that will affect every future President,” Trump’s lawyers said in their emergency application to Chief Justice John Roberts. The chief justice has authority over such petitions from cases arising from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Trump’s lawyers asked the court to act by Wednesday to delay an appeals court ruling that cleared the way for the IRS to deliver the tax returns on Thursday.

The delay would give Trump time to formally ask the high court to hear an appeal of the ruling. But the lawyers also said the Supreme Court could consider Monday’s filing itself a request to hear the case.

Last December US District Judge of the US District Court for the District of Columbia, Trevor McFadden, a Trump appointee, dismissed Trump’s case to keep the Treasury from giving his tax returns to the House Committee on Ways and Means.

Judge McFadden said even if Trump is right on the facts. he is wrong on the law.

“A long line of Supreme Court cases requires great deference to facially valid congressional inquiries. Even the special solicitude accorded former President does not alter the outcome. The Court will therefore dismiss the case,” the judge said in a 45-page memorandum.

Judge McFadden told House Ways and Means Committee Chair, Rep. Neal that it would not be wise to make Trump’ tax returns public.

“Anyone can see that publishing confidential tax information of a political rival is the type of move that will return to plague the inventor,” the judge wrote. “It might not be right or wise to publish the returns, but it is the Chairman’s right to do so. Congress has granted him this extraordinary power, and courts are loath to second guess congressional motives or duly enacted statutes. The Court will not do so here and thus must dismiss this case.”

The Department of Justice on Monday is expected to announce two federal criminal charges against David DePape.

The US government will now control and hide the evidence – and shape the national media narrative.

MSNBC reported Monday morning that Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), is in the ICU surrounded by family as he recovers from a hammer attack to his head by an alleged intruder last Friday at the couple’s San Francisco home. Meanwhile, his accused attacker also remains hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The Justice Department plans to announce two federal criminal charges Monday against the man accused of viciously attacking Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, law enforcement officials told NBC News.

Details of the expected charges against David DePape were not immediately available.

DePape was arrested by San Francisco Police last Friday after he was found at the Pelosi home, where he hit the 82-year-old Paul Pelosi with a hammer.

Pelosi remained in the intensive care unit at a San Francisco hospital, surrounded by family members, on Monday morning, sources told NBC.

Law enforcement officials including FBI agents on Sunday obtained Pelosi’s account of the home invasion a source with knowledge of the investigation told NBC.

Last year, CDC COVID-19 Response Team published a weekly report on Friday where a vast majority of the patients infected with the Omicron variant identified in the US so far were fully vaccinated individuals.

The federal government and mockingbird media are still clinging to their slipping grasp of the dwindling minority of Americans who are still concerned about the “pandemic.”

The updated booster shots against Omicron got emergency authorization, and a CDC panel voted to recommend the shots for children as young as 5 to 11 and for people over the age of 12.

The new vaccine is called Bivalent which means it contains two messenger RNA (mRNA) components of the coronavirus. Half of the vaccine targets the original strain, and the other half targets the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron subvariant lineages.

These new COVID boosters were not tested on humans – only mice.

“Since children have gone back to school in person and people are resuming pre-pandemic behaviors and activities, there is the potential for increased risk of exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccination remains the most effective measure to prevent the severe consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death,” said Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D.

“While it has largely been the case that COVID-19 tends to be less severe in children than adults, as the various waves of COVID-19 have occurred, more children have gotten sick with the disease and have been hospitalized. Children may also experience long-term effects, even following initially mild disease. We encourage parents to consider primary vaccination for children and follow-up with an updated booster dose when eligible,” he added.

Now, two independent studies conducted by scientists from Columbia University in New York City and Harvard University found that the new boosters did not produce a better antibody response in humans against BA.5 than the first-generation vaccines, NBC reported.

They compared samples from 21 patients in the Columbia research and 18 people in the Harvard study who received the new boosters to people who received the old vaccine as their fourth shot.

However, the FDA said these two studies are “small and subject to limitations.”

“It’s important to note that the two studies were done independently. They’re small studies but there are two of them —it’s not just a fluke,” said Dr. Dan Barouch, the lead author of the Harvard study.

Scientists at Columbia and Harvard, in two independent studies, found the new boosters and the old shots basically performed the same against omicron BA.5, raising doubts about whether the vaccines will live up to high expectations set by the Biden administration. The antibody responses were slightly higher with the omicron boosters, though the studies concluded the difference wasn’t significant.

Dr. Peter Marks, head of the FDA’s vaccine division, said the studies are small and subject to limitations. Data from larger well-controlled studies are expected in the near future, he said. Pfizer and Moderna are conducting clinical trials on the new boosters and are expected to provide data later this year.

“It is important to note that even the data from these initial small studies indicate that the bivalent vaccines are generally at least as good or better as the original vaccines in generating an immune response, particularly to BA.4/BA.5 and other newer variants,” Marks said in a statement.

Even modest increases in immune response could have positive consequences for public health, he added.

“FDA continues to encourage eligible individuals to consider receiving an updated vaccine to help protect against the currently circulating Covid-19 variants and the wave of Covid-19 that appears to be coming,” Marks said.
